Music in Adelaide

Adelaide is a UNESCO city of music. The city has several annual music festivals and awards, and probably has more live music per capita than any other capital in the Southern Hemisphere. Organizations such as Music SA and the state music development office in the city, with the support of the state government, are helping to nurture the live music industry and the careers of emerging artists. Famous artists such as Paul Kelly, Redgam, Cold Chisel, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Hoods Bala, Untitled, and Guy Sebastian originate from this city.
